Construction

I have to say I am useless when it comes to building anything when using tools and wood but some home I managed two weeks in set construction without hurting myself or anyone around me. I was least enthusiastic about this subject as its not my best but I managed to keep at it and created something I can say I am proud to show off.

As I have no experience with tools I chose something very simple and basic to make which was a box, but using my creativity I made a book to look like a book with hinges and everything. My brain couldn't quite understand how measuring out and cutting worked so I used my costume skills and magically it worked.

Even though it was basic shapes I used what I learnt during my props rotation to turn this book/box into something different. Growing up Hocus Pocus was one of my favourite films and I remembered the book of spells that's made out of skin, well the ideas started overflowing I just had to try this. Using a mixture of materials and methods I managed to create my own version of the book of spells.
