Coraline

When its your friends birthday and your not quite sure what to get them, just take a second and think about there interests, what they like what you both have in common. I haven't known Lauren for too long but knowing she's a quirky person it wasn't too hard to think of a gift I could make her. That's the other thing when it comes to giving gifts, you want it to be special something they will love and appreciate so make it yourself there's nothing more special than taking the time to create something they will love.

 

We both have a mutual love for the film Coraline. Instead of just buying her a Coraline doll I searched through all my many sewing magazines and come across a ragdoll pattern that I adapted to create a miny Coraline. Having never made a ragdoll before I was kinda nervous but excited at the same time, specially when I was making it for a gift I felt the pressure.

 

Thank goodness she loved it.

 

 

 

We took her out for a few beers.
