For so long my friend and I kept saying we'll put our creative skills together and create items for possible sale. We had several mini meetings, we even done market research on what's popular and what kind of prints we can create. So life got in the way for a bit we made plans but busy life's made it difficult to make plans to be able to start our work.
Finally it happened, we had our very first printing day. I have a small space which I call my studio so we put our talents together and starting making sample products. Cutting out linos is one of my favourite things to do, so we both are using lino to create unique and interesting patterns. We started of simple but printing onto cotton shopper bags, we figured with the 5p for a carrier people would be more inclined to purchase a reusable bag.
Like the chatty people we are we spent more time laughing than actually working, we manage to make one bag each. But for the future we have arrange a printing day so there will be more to come.
We just had to take a funny selfie while working.
Lauren got too excited when her prints turned out so cool.
Cutting lino.
