So I haven't posted in months. But I have good reason. The past few months have been so crazy, reason being I got a place to study Costume Construction at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow.
I am overwhelmed by how amazing it is to be studying here. Right away I have been working on live shows, making costumes for production and working with actors. Learning what its like to work backstage and how fast you need to be at quick changes between scenes is scary but equality fun.
I was given the chance to make some chorus costumes for the Christmas panto. This was an exciting experience for me, one I have never made anything for theatre, two I have never made anything for men to wear. My first piece of costume was a male waistcoat.
